Updating busy information greyed out

Rated 4.39/5 based on 511 customer reviews

All updates have been ran, also all conflicting updates have been searched for and not found.

I have read the Microsoft thread and I have tried all that they have said would fix this issue to no avail.

For an exchange account in Microsoft Outlook, it allows users to share their calendar free and busy information with other users.

Therefore, according to the free and busy information, other users can pick out a suitable time for meeting requires easily.

It does not allow everyone to open your calendar and browse it.

The meeting proposer can see your free/busy times in the Scheduling Assistant.

However, if that is already too much to be shared or if you want only certain people to see your availability, you can do this via Calendar Permissions and altering your Free/Busy Publishing settings.

Since Outlook 2007 in combination with Exchange 2007 or later, the Free/Busy information is directly obtained from your Calendar via the Exchange Availability Assistant.

Step 2: Go to the Share group on the Home tab, and click the Calendar Permissions button.

Step 3: Now the Calendar Properties dialog box comes out, please go to the Permissions section, and check one of Read permission levels according to your own needs.
